Julia Macfarlane was born and spent most of her life in the North East of England. Her career has spanned working as a Tax Officer for Her Majesty's Inspector of Taxes, being a French/German translator and working for various UK universities in business/university management
Bognor Regis Write Club, a group for would-be professional writers; being an active member of local walking and natural history groups; enjoying her grandkids; spoiling rotten her beautiful cockapoo; in fact, anything she can find to do that prevents her sitting at her desk and completing her writing projects.
